Z-score
A standardized score indicating how many standard deviations a data point or sample mean is from the population mean.
The likelihood of something occurring beyond chance, expressed as a proportion or percentage.
A method of selecting from a population where every person has an equal and constant probability of being chosen.
A theoretical distribution formed by plotting the means of multiple random samples of the same size from a population.
Returning selected individuals to the population to ensure a constant probability of selection for subsequent draws.
A symmetrical, bell-shaped distribution used to determine probabilities associated with Z scores by locating them on the curve.
States that the mean of sample means equals the population mean, and their distribution approximates normal for large sample sizes (n > 30).
